Leeuwenhof Country Lodge & Garden spa’s offers luxury but affordable accommodation. Personal service, cuisine & tranquillity ensure a revisit.  All the en-suite bedrooms have a garden entrance & mountain view. All comforts are available such as air conditioner, en-suite bathrooms, bath robes, pure cotton linen, a choice of pillows and DSTV.

Squirrels and birds of all kinds enjoy the majestic trees and the streams flowing through the estate. Baboons, whose ancestors in distant times shared the Waterberg Mountains with the first species of mankind, inhabit the surrounding mountains and regularly overnight in the cliffs of Leeupoort. In this area where ancestors of early man made their home and wildlife roamed freely, a vast conservancy has been created. Transfers available to Johannesburg International Airport and elsewhere in Gauteng. Malaria free. Climate: moderate. Childeren over the age of 14 welcome. The owner has striven to create a luxurious retreat amidst the abundant blessing of nature.

Directions

From OR Tambo International Airport From O.R. Tambo International Airport (JHB International) take the road to Tshwane (Pretoria). Turn onto the N1 to Polokwane (Pietersburg) just before reaching Tshwane (Pretoria). At the Kranskop tollgate keep to the left and turn to Modimolle (Nylstroom). Travel straight through Modimolle and continue on the R33 to Vaalwater (Matlabane) and Ellisras (Lephalale). Approximately 23km after Modimolle turn onto the Loubad road. The way to Leeuwenhof is clearly sign posted from here. The estate is situated 3.2km further on the right-hand side of the road.
