Your “hands-on” hosts at Badger Bush Lodge, Jacques and Laurie, have taken “a once cattle farm” and turned it into a “three star” awarded self catering Lodge that is visited throughout the year by tourists from every corner of the globe.

Badger Bush Lodge was transformed into it’s former glory, the way our ancestors experienced the bush, by introducing most of the natural fauna and flora that occurred in days gone by. “Barries” who is the “right-hand man”, oversees to all aspects of the fauna, flora and lodge.

“Barries” is a very knowledgeable and experienced person and you will be captivated by his entertaining and humorous “campfire” stories.

All our staff are very efficient, and their help in camp will ensure that your stay at Badger Bush Lodge will be memorable. Badger Bush Lodge offers up-market chalets of 2 and 3 bedrooms, en-suite.  Enjoy the comforts of your private lounge and fully equipped kitchen for the enthusiastic self-caterer or relax and enjoy the company of family and friends while a five star meal is being prepared for you.

The Self Catering Lodge offers you the opportunity to enjoy the timeless tranquility of the Limpopo bushveld. The Thabazimbi bushveld is situated in the Limpopo Province and forms part of the world-renowned Waterberg Biosphere.

Thabazimbi, derived from a Tswana word meaning “mountain of iron” refers to the highly lucrative iron

ore reef, first discovered in 1919.  The town was proclaimed in 1953 and the municipal boundaries include Leeupoort, Northam and Rooibokkraal and has an estimated population of 67 800.

This area has become one of the preferred eco-tourism and hunting destinations in South Africa.

GAME DRIVES
Get closer to the abundance of wildlife offered on our  property and neighboring farms by taking an open vehicle or donkey cart game drive while enjoying sundowners  We also offer game drives through National Parks in the area, price on request.

GOLFING
For the golfing enthusiast who wants to combine your hobby with nature, we have the Ben Albert's golf course, a mere 26 km’s away or the world renowned Million Dollar Golf Challenge course at Sun City.  Bookings are essential.
