DescriptionOur mission is to allow guests to share our piece of paradise with us, away from city crowds and rushed life. Kranskop provide guests exclusivity, free from overcrowded parks where there is a total lack of ceremony.
Our goal is to introduce the city dweller to a bush experience rather than just a break-away . To spend some time in the bush, hiking and resting among trees, planting a seed of love for the wonderful bush life and all that happens within it, the basis of science, engineering, architecture, art and all the things it taught us, helping to create our modern lifestyle. Kranskop Game & Nature Reserve consists of a 650ha game farm, situated at the gateway of the Waterberg in Limpopo Province. We are located in a Malaria free area plus minus 125km north of Pretoria, 1km from the Kranskop Toll Plaza. We are a Five Star graded lodge with chalets ranging from two sleepers to six sleeper units. Our six sleeper chalets consist of three spacious en-suite bedrooms. The two bedrooms on the ground floor are equipped with a double bed, bubble bath, shower and separate toilet. The loft bedroom consists of two single beds, en-suite bathroom with shower, basin and toilet. The open plan lounge is equipped with air conditioner, television, DSTV decoder, CD/DVD player. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary utensils, microwave, fridge and the six sleeper chalets are also equipped with dishwashers. Our farm is stocked with game such as: Giraffe, Kudu, Waterbuck, Zebra, Blue Wildebeest, Gemsbok, Nyala, Bushbuck, Reedbuck, Blesbok, Impala, Springbok, Duiker, Steenbok, Warthog, Porcupine, Bush Pig, etc. and various bird species. Our outdoor activities consist of an outdoor solar heated swimming pool, cold splash pool, trampoline, volley ball, darts, safe hiking, small children’s playground, and game drives. Game drives with our own vehicles are allowed at no additional cost. Our boma, adjacent to the lodge area provides a great atmosphere for parties, family groups or company entertainment. An undercover area with fire place provides added comfort to our boma. Accommodation Kranskop Game & Nature Reserve offers in accommodation in chalets ranging from two sleepers to 6 sleeper units. The loft bedroom consists of two single beds, en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet & basin.
The lounge is equipped with TV, DSTV decoder, DVD player, air conditioner and ceiling cooling fan.
The kitchen is fully equipped with cutlery, utensils, dishwasher, microwave, fridge etc.
Each chalet has its own linked barbeque where only charcoal fires are permitted due to a fire hazard to our thatched roofs
An open plan chalet with double bed, one single bed, air conditioner with fully equipped kitchenette, fridge , microwave, cooling fan, TV, DSTV decoder, DVD player and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower.
This chalet is walled in to ad to extra privacy with own linked barbeque for charcoal fires only
Groups Kranskop Game Lodge is ideally suited for family or company groups holding small conferences etc.
As a rule no day visitors are allowed and particularly so when groups occupy the entire lodge.
The lodge caters for 26 individuals sharing or 13 occupying single rooms. IMPORTANT NOTICE - Children occupying a bed or a room are liable for the full published rate
- Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of a 50% booking deposit within 48hours from placing of a provisional booking
- Full payment of the booking must be transferred prior to arrival
- NO credit card facility available at location.
