Tintswalo is an exclusive safari lodge situated in the Manyeleti Game Reserve, within the Greater Kruger National Park.

The Manyeleti is a pristine wilderness reserve which opens in the east to the vastness of the Kruger Park, abounding in big five game and spectacular bird life. The reserve is unique for its minimal vehicle density and so offering a true exclusive safari experience.

Tintswalo Safari lodge is situated along a seasonal river bed among an ancient sycamore tree grove. The exquisitely appointed main lodge overlooks a waterhole often frequented by a large herd of elephant and other big game. The Explorer Suites are all linked to the main lodge by raised wooden walkways.

Tintswalo Manor House, an intimate homely setting with complete privacy is located 5 minutes drive away from the Main Lodge. Luxury en-suite air-conditioned rooms over look a water hole that often welcomes thirsty visitors of all kinds.

Manyeleti in the local Shangaan language means Place of Stars, while Tintswalo in the Shangaan language means the intangible feeling of love, gratitude and peace that you bestow upon someone who has given you a meaningful and worthy gift. This is what our guests experience.

After a long day s exploration in the bush, moments of supreme relaxation, inner peace and rejuvenation of one s spirituality are a must. The Elan Vit l spa specializes in hands-on treatment for both men and women utilizing concentrated plant-based Clarins and Jessica products to stimulate all your senses.

Tintswalo s schedule is infinitely flexible. The day s activities are planned around you, the guest. A typical day would start with an early morning game drive and perhaps a picnic breakfast. Followed by an al fresco lunch on the main lodge deck and afternoon leasure time to allow for a relaxing spa treatment. The evening drive continues into the night, complete with Tintswalo s unique and spectacular sundowner experience, and your day is rounded by a crystal candlelit dinner.

The lodge has a small but exclusive library of rare books as well as a wine cellar from which wine can be chosen to enjoy with alfresco dining on the lodge deck, in the exquisite setting of the formal dining area, in the wine cellar or even under the stars in the African bush.

The Vital Source Spa is privately situated at the lodge and has Internationally Trained Therapists awaiting guests, ready to ensure removal of the last vestiges of city stress from body and mind.
The Spa specializes in hands-on treatment for both men and women utilizing Elemis and Africology Products to stimulate all the senses.

The style of cuisine at Tintswalo Safari Lodge is contemporary, with only the freshest of ingredients. The team enjoy using plenty of fresh herbs and spices to flavour their creations - including basil, rosemary, thyme, fragrant seeds and spices.

The closest town to the Manyeleti Game Reserve is Hoedspruit. Road access from Hoedspruit is via the Orpen Gate Road of the Kruger National Park. Full directions, as well as air transfer options, are available from the Tintswalo Reservations Office.
