Accommodation 2 Garden Cottages for 2 persons each, with en-suite bathroom. (shower and toilet) 2 Double bedrooms in the house with a shared bathroom. (shower, bath and toilet) All rooms have air-conditioning and ceiling fans and their own private entrance. Both Cottages have tea and coffee making trays and DSTV. Facilities Breakfast is served in the dining room. Lunch and dinner available by prior arrangement, or you can go to one of the restaurants in Phalaborwa. (Information about the restaurants in Phalaborwa is available in the information folder in each room, and we would be happy to give you advice) Swimming pool. Private and safe parking. There are no pets in Bakkers B&B, and no pets from guests will be allowed. All rooms are non smoking rooms.

Double rooms in the main house with shared bathroom R250.00 per person per night. Garden Cottages with en-suite shower and toilet R300.00 per person per night. (so as a single you don’t pay more!!!) We have no seasonal price changes!

Guests booking a stay in the period of 1 November 2010 – 11 December 2010 in one of our Garden Cottages, will get a discount of 10% pp/pn!! Pensioners will be eligible for a discount of 20% pp/pn!! If you do not want breakfast the next morning, we will give you an other discount of R. 30.00 pp!!
Safari Package
Bakkers Bed and Breakfast offers safari tours with a personal touch to the Kruger National Park, guided by your host Cees Bakker. He is an experienced and licensed field guide with a passion for nature and wildlife. The Kruger National Park is the flagship of nature conservation with an impressive number of species: 336 trees, 49 fish, 34 amphibians, 114 reptiles, 507 birds and 147 mammals. Passionate about wildlife, Cees shares his knowledge on nature and insures that your private safari tour will become an unforgettable event. Special requests such as birding are part of the personal service that the private safari tours offer. This fully arranged trip includes a 2 nights stay, including breakfast, in one of our garden cottages, a private safari day tour to the Kruger National Park (including entrance fees and transport), soft drinks during the tour and 2 dinners and 1 lunch for R. 2,499.00 per person.

From R71: Go left on first four way stop (Spekboom). Take the second road to your right (Grey). Keep left around the koppie (Visarend), and take first road to your right (Starling). From KNP: Go right at the first four way stop without trafic lights (Spekboom). Follow directions as above.

- We spent one night at Bakkers Bed and Breakfast. The friendly Dutch owners Cees and Corina Bakker took good care of us. Breakfast was delicious, Cees does the cooking and will prepare a fully cooked breakfast if you wish. Corina's home made muffins are scrumptious. We stayed in a nicely furnished studio. The B&B also offers rooms with a shared bathroom. The B&B has a lovely litle swimming pool, where you can relax after a long day of driving in the park. The B&B is situated in the lovely quiet town of Phalaborwa, just a mere 5 minutes from the Kruger National Park.

- Nice room with very good beds, nice and clean, good swimmingpool. Very nice owners, they give your stay a personel touch. Breakfast and diner are very good even if you want early in the morning to Kruger (and they also can organise a very good "braai") . We had the owner as our personel guide in the the Kruger, he nows a lot from the nature and tel's a lot about it. We've had a very plessand stay with our children and want for sure come back to this accamondation.
